This artwork won favor in mostly all judges while selecting the winner among the Teen entries. What drawn our attention is the serene atmosphere created by the various blue and golden tones and it follows the theme ‘Rise and Shine’ very well. I can imagine walking through a cathedral and this piece as a stain glass window (with the angel and cherubim).

I admire your digital art skills -this uses different skills compared to traditional art and it’s something that clicks with certain people and is harder for others (I’m pointing out that this artist is very talented for mastering digital art as a teen). The characters, expressions, use of color/lighting and the Christmas theme are all points to which it was rewarded 2nd place. Well done!

The magical colours and overall realistic, scenic depiction of a sunset or sunrise in the winter captured the attention of the judges. I can’t imagine being this good at painting at 13 years old! She also shows us that she can draw cartoon as well, good job!
